Free agent center Joakim Noah's enthusiasm and energy usually cannot be contained when he is on the court.

However, Noah is settling down after getting engaged to Victoria's Secret Angel Lais Ribeiro at Burning Man music festival in Black Rock, Nevada:

The couple first started dating sometime in 2018, according to E! News.

Noah seems to be thriving personally, though professionally he still faces a lot of uncertainty. Noah had been one of the candidates that worked out for the Los Angeles Lakers following the loss of center DeMarcus Cousins, but the Lakers ultimately reunited with Dwight Howard.

After playing a total of just seven games with the New York Knicks during the 2017-18 season, Noah was signed by the Memphis Grizzlies last December.

Noah played 42 games and proved that he could still provide some grittiness, averaging 7.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in just over 16 minutes per game. That line equates to a very impressive per-36 line of 15.5 points, 12.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists.

There are a number of reporters and analysts that feel the Lakers made a poor choice in selecting Howard over Noah, including Nick Friedell of ESPN:

Given Noah's impressive stint with the Grizzlies, it seems unlikely that he will not find a spot on an NBA roster in the near future. The former Defensive Player of the Year has infectious energy, and his veteran leadership could certainly be useful for a number of competitors around the league.

While Noah still looks for more clarity with respect to his basketball career, he and Ribeiro will be looking forward to a lifetime together.
