The Philadelphia 76ers returned home to try and take a lead against Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks. At the half, the Sixers were up by 20 points and seemed in control. That is until a wild Atlanta run propelled them into the lead and eventually taking the game after Joel Embiid missed a pair of free throws with less than 20 seconds left.

The Sixers looked in complete control after a huge first half from Embiid gave them a 22-point halftime cushion over the Hawks. However, Trae Young and Atlanta found a way and outscored the Sixers 40-19 in the final frame to walk away with the victory.

Young finished the game with 39 points on 10-23 from the field and Embiid finished with 37 points and 13 rebounds in a huge bounce-back performance, although those two, crucial missed free throws might come back to haunt the Sixers if they can't get back on track in Game 6.

The Hawks left with a 109-106 victory after being down by 20+ throughout the game, and the Hawks have suddenly taken a 3-2 series lead going into Game 6 in Atlanta.

Atlanta will have a shot to move on to the Eastern Conference Finals if they can win just one more game, with the next battle coming up on Friday night.
