Free agent forward Jonas Jerebko has decided not to wait any further, as he is reportedly headed to Europe to continue his professional basketball career there.

Jerebko played last season for the Golden State Warriors, where he appeared in 73 games, putting up 6.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 16.7 minutes of action per contest. He had some great games in the Dubs' playoff run, which ended at the hands of the Toronto Raptors, who won the 2019 NBA title.

Pretty much like some of the free agents, Jerebko also waited at least a month for any NBA team to give his camp a call. He would've been an excellent option for a ballclub who's looking to add a stretch forward to their roster. Unfortunately, it seems that no team is interested in signing him, which made it easier for him to choose to continue playing in Europe.

Aside from the Warriors, Jerebko also had stints with the Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, and Utah Jazz during his nine-year career in the NBA.

Over the past couple of weeks, there have been several reports of former NBA players deciding to take their talents overseas because they were not able to secure an NBA contract. Former Los Angeles Clipper Milos Teodosic has agreed to go back to the EuroLeague while Lance Stephenson, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers last season, has agreed to a one-year deal to play in China.

Expect more free agents to join other professional leagues if they don't get a call from the NBA.
