The close game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Brooklyn Nets had a controversial finish. Down by two points, Kawhi Leonard was called for an offensive foul for warding off James Harden on the Clippers' final possession. The Clippers didn't have a challenge left so they had no choice but to live with the call as the Nets eventually sealed the 112-108 win.

Here's the play in question so you can judge for yourself:

It was a tough call and unfortunately, the refereed opted to step in instead of letting the players call. Kudos to Harden too for selling the call quite well as he was able to come up with the huge defensive play to keep LA at bay. Harden was fouled on the next possession and knocked down two free throws to ultimately their sixth straight win.

On the other hand, Leonard would definitely want a mulligan on that one. the two-time Finals MVP actually had a free lane to the basket with Harden staying on his side. One can even argue that he could've easily made a lay-up without having to create extra space for himself and maybe even gotten fouled in the process. But, Mr. Fun Guy made his move and the call went against him.

Kawhi Leonard had to do all the work late in the game after Paul George was pulled out because of a minutes restriction. George logged in 33 minutes and tallied a team-high of 34 points before being taken out by head coach Ty Lue in the dying minutes of the game.

Tough night for the Clips.
