Former NBA big man Kendrick Perkins believes Anthony Davis compliments LeBron James better than any other teammate The King has played with during his legendary career, even the great Dwyane Wade.

Upon seeing Perkins' tweet, Wade responded and actually agreed with Big Perk.

Dwyane Wade and LeBron James won two titles together on the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013 along with Chris Bosh. After the Heat lost the 2011 Finals to the Dallas Mavericks, Wade passed the torch to James and told LeBron the team was his.

Now with the Los Angeles Lakers, it appears James is doing the same thing with Anthony Davis. While LeBron is still recognized as the best all-around player in the NBA, Davis is making a strong case for being the top player on the Lakers with the way he's been dominating at Walt Disney World.

James has played with some exceptional big men in the past like the aforementioned Bosh with the Heat, Kevin Love with the Cleveland Cavaliers and most recently Brandon Ingram, who was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans for Davis.

However, AD is on another level since he is a three-level scorer and one of the best defensive players in the NBA. Davis came in second place in the 2020 NBA Defensive Player of the Year voting, losing to Milwaukee Bucks forward and the two-time Most Valuable Player winner, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Behind Davis and James, the Lakers appear well on their way to winning the 2020 NBA title against the Heat. The major question moving forward will be who will win Finals MVP between James and Davis.
