Perhaps former NBA center and current ESPN basketball analyst Kendrick Perkins simply forgot that Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James exists. Because that is the only explanation that the longtime big man can use to defend his list of “Top 5 All-Time Most Skilled Players.”

While no one is arguing about another Lakers legend in Kobe Bryant and Chicago Bulls superstar shooting guard Michael Jordan topping such a list, but not featuring James' name at all is downright ridiculous and egregious.

It is also worth noting that Brooklyn Nets superstar forward Kevin and Durant and superstar point guard Kyrie Irving come in at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, with Perkins' former Boston Celtics teammate and Hall of Fame big man Kevin Garnett rounding out the list at No. 5.

While there is absolutely no doubt in anyone on the planet's mind that King James is at least one of the top five best players in the history of the NBA, not having him on this list — or any list of this nature for that matter — is laughable. Because ESPN is currently showing The Last Dance, which prominently features the aforementioned Jordan, it appears as though James has been forced to take a backseat —  and then some — for at least the time being.

Although every single one of the players that Perkins mentions is among the best to ever play the game, the back-end of this list just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. If there is an argument about the greatest of all time, it better be between James, Jordan and Bryant. Period.
