Former NBA big man Kendrick Perkins had a hilarious reaction to Marc Gasol reportedly leaving the Toronto Raptors and the NBA for Barcelona.
Perkins took to Twitter to chime in on the news, noting that Gasol “must have watched that Presidential Debate last night.”

The Presidential Debate on Tuesday between Joe Biden and Donald Trump was a disaster from start to finish. President Trump wouldn't let Biden talk during his turn and he even refused to denounce white supremacists in a moment that caused quite the stir considering the social climate we are living in.
NBA players used their platforms after the debate ended to urge Americans to vote if they want to see change in the United States. It is widely assumed most of the players in the league are going to vote for Biden. Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry have already announced their plans to vote for the Democratic nominee.
If Marc Gasol's NBA career is really over, then it has been a stellar run for the Spaniard. Like Kendrick Perkins, Gasol is an NBA champion. He won the 2019 title with the Raptors, though his stellar years were with the Memphis Grizzlies where he was a three-time All-Star and the 2013 Defensive Player of the Year.
