NBA on TNT host Ernie Johnson just showed off his speed and agility on Tuesday, as he smoked co-host Kenny Smith to the big board. The impromptu race went down during halftime of Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets.

To be fair to Smith, he was distracted by Charles Barkley to start the sprint, which gave Johnson the unfair advantage:

Smith was expecting to race against Barkley, and he failed to keep his eye on the ball. This presented Ernie Johnson with an opportunity, which he did not hesitate to pounce on.

Johnson's celebratory run back to the panel was hilarious, as he knew he really got one over Smith. However, Barkley's post-race trash-talking took the cake, as he called out Smith for quitting mid-race. Smith fired back by saying that he didn't even try. We're not sure what's worse, but what we can say here without uncertainty is how Johnson currently holds the title as the show's Usain Bolt. That is until the next race, of course.

The guys over at TNT did a great job with their halftime show, as they pointed out how impressive the Nuggets have been in Game 3. Denver came out of the gates firing, and they exhibited a real sense of urgency to open the ballgame. Nothing less was expected of them, with Denver down 2-0 in the series prior to the contest. Another loss for them would have undoubtedly spelled disaster for what has been a tremendous postseason run.

Later in the evening, Ernie Johnson pulled out the receipts, or post-it notes, with the guys' hot takes from the year. Needless to say, Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith were off about just a few things.
