Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant congratulated Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo for winning the 2019 MVP award. Now, the Black Mamba has another challenge for the Greek Freak.

Antetokounmpo averaged 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game last season, leading the Bucks to the playoffs with the best record in the league. Unfortunately, after making quick work of the Detroit Pistons and the Boston Celtics in the first two rounds, Milwaukee was taken down by the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals.

It was indeed a heartbreaking moment for Giannis, as he worked hard to put the Bucks in the position to win a title in the 2018-19 season only to fall short. Now, he will be motivated to bounce back, especially since he has the support of one of the greatest basketball players to ever play in the NBA.

Bryant issued a challenge to various athletes, and that included Giannis. The five-time champion has earned the reputation of fighting through difficult situations as he carved his path to success. Win or lose, the Black Mamba has always worked hard to get better.

Now that Giannis Antetokounmpo has accomplished Kobe Bryant's first challenge, the question now is, will he be able to do the second one next season?

Only time will tell.
