LeBron James and Norman Powell have been named the NBA's Players of the Week for Week 20 of the 2019-20 season.

James put up 29.0 points, 10.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers went 3-0. Powell averaged 31.3 points on 56.1 percent shooting from the floor as the Toronto Raptors went 3-0:

The Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference. LeBron is in the MVP conversation again now that he's healthy and has Anthony Davis by his side.

After missing the playoffs last season for the first time since his second year in the league, James sat back all offseason and heard all these NBA pundits slander his name.

As he always does, though, James took the high road and just focused on what he can control.

LeBron has been fresh and active this season for the Lakers on both ends of the court now that his groin is healthy. James is averaging 25.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 10.6 assists on the season. He’s shooting 49.7 percent from the field, 34.7 percent from beyond the arc and 70.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Powell and the Raptors, meanwhile, continue to show that the NBA should fear them once the playoffs start. Gone are Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green from last year's club. However, the Raptors are in second place in the Eastern Conference and appear to have what it takes to repeat as NBA champions.

For his part, Powell is averaging 16.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists on the season in 43 games. The Raptors are 45-18.

The Lakers and Raptors could meet in the NBA Finals. First, each team has to win their respective conference.
