Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward and three-time NBA champion LeBron James says NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders looked like Prince Akeem from Coming to America during his introductory press conference at Jackson State on Monday.

Sanders, one of the best football players of all time, was emotional during his press conference on Monday, as he's excited about this huge opportunity.

ā€œI am truly blessed to be the 21st Head football coach of Jackson State University,ā€ Sanders said, via ESPN.

ā€œIt's my desire to continue this storied tradition and history of JSU and prayerfully bring more national recognition to the athletes, the university, the Sonic Boom of the South, and HBCUs in general.ā€

LeBron James and Deion Sanders are two legends in the NBA and NFL, respectively. Like Sanders, James will make the Hall of Fame one day when he decides to retire from the NBA.

After Anthony Davis' game-winning buzzer-beater against the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, James and the Lakers are up 2-0 in the best-of-seven series.

The Lakers are now two wins away from reaching the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.

Thus far in the 2020 playoffs at Walt Disney World, James is averaging 25.6 points, 10.0 rebounds and 8.7 assists in 12 games against the Portland Trail Blazers, Houston Rockets and Nuggets. The King is also shooting 54.7 percent from the field, 36.1 percent from beyond the arc and 72.6 percent from the free-throw line.

With both Davis and James playing at an unreal level, it appears the Lakers are well on their way to winning the 2020 NBA title.
