The NBA schedule is set to be released sometime within the next week or so, and the NBA is planning to release a full slate of the national TV schedule on Wednesday night.

On Tuesday, however, New York Times' reporter Marc Stein was able to obtain information on the NBA's Christmas Day schedule. It will feature the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the Golden State Warriors, the Philadelphia 76ers taking on the Boston Celtics, and the Milwaukee Bucks taking on the New York Knicks.

ESPN's Chris Haynes added just minutes later that the Portland Trail Blazers will be taking on the Utah Jazz as well on Christmas Day.

This gives us four Christmas Day games, and the NBA schedule has five games on the holiday, so we're looking at one more game to be added. At this point and considering everything that's happened this offseason, the final game will likely be the Houston Rockets taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Christmas Day has become one of the best traditions of the NBA season, and most of these teams will likely be facing off on that day for the first time this season.
