Former NBA star Lamar Odom will be one of the celebrity contestants for the next edition of “Dancing With The Stars” on ABC:

After being “deactivated” from the BIG3, Lamar Odom has been working hard to get back in good shape, hoping to continue his professional basketball career. He recently said that he has already given up bad habits such as porn and candy, and that he's working out with fitness guru girlfriend Sabrina Parr.

This is probably one of his ways to stay in shape, as dancing has physical benefits if practiced regularly.

Odom is just starting to get his life back on track after a series of unfortunate events a couple of years ago which led to him attempting suicide back in 2015. Fortunately, he survived.

Although his NBA career is over, Odom has no plans of quitting professional basketball just yet. Aside from his desire to get back to the BIG3, he also has plans to play overseas. He expressed interest in returning to the Philippines, where he already played earlier this year.

Odom is trying to put his life back together, and despite all the setbacks, he's still doing his best to be able to stand on his own two feet. This isn't how he wanted his professional career to end, so at this point, he just wants to walk away with something he can be proud of.

At this point, it seems he's on the right track.
