LaMelo Ball is preparing to enter the NBA with the 2020 NBA Draft set to take place on November 18, but he's expanding his ventures beyond basketball.

Ahead of him being selected, Ball is following his father's—LaVar Ball—footsteps in launching his own clothing brand.

On his Instagram, LaMelo revealed that he's launching his own clothing brand called “LaFrance”. The talented guard showcased some of his merchandise in the Instagram post alongside his dog.

Of course, when hearing one of the Ball family members create a clothing brand, everyone reflects on the “Big Baller Brand.” The Big Baller Brand was created by LaVar when Lonzo Ball was preparing to enter the NBA in 2018.

When it first released, the shoes and other clothing items on the Big Baller Brand website were extremely pricey. And similar to his father, LaMelo doesn't appear to be selling his attire for cheap either.

Upon going to the website, some of the T-shirts on the site are priced around $70 each. On the other hand, the majority of the hoodies on the site are valued at $120 or more.

There's no doubt that LaMelo Ball is drawing a ton of buzz with the NBA Draft right around the corner. After playing this past season in the Australian Basketball League, Melo is projected to be a top-three pick in the draft.

You can't blame him for maximizing his opportunity to begin building his own brand and image. However, LaMelo is likely hoping to have better success than Big Baller Brand, which has gone through some rough patches in the past year.
