With the NBA restart just weeks away, the league has now released the official scrimmage schedule, which is set to kick off on July 22.

Below is the full schedule, courtesy of NBC Sports:NBA

All NBA 22 teams are scheduled for three scrimmage games each, which will take place in a span of seven days. This will serve as the teams’ tune-up games following the four-month season suspension. Notably, all scrimmage games are against teams from the opposing conference or teams that they are not likely to face off against in the playoffs.

All this build ups to the actual season tip off on July 30, which will feature a double-header of the Utah Jazz going up against the New Orleans Hornets, followed by another feisty matchup between cross-town rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers. It is necessary for the NBA to revive the interest of the viewers again, and they are going all out on Day 1, pitting two of the best teams in the league — as well as two heavy favorites to go all the way this year — in what should be a great way to kick off the botched season.

Teams will be flying to Orlando starting next week, and all participants will be placed under a predetermined quarantine period before they are allowed to take part in the bubble. This is just one of the many measures the NBA intends to strictly implement so as to minimize the risk of the virus entering the isolated bubble.
