When Michael Jordan returned to basketball in the middle of the 1994-95 season, the Chicago Bulls almost immediately became the favorites to reclaim the NBA throne. Instead, the Bulls were ousted by the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

So when Jordan began filming for a Looney Tunes crossover dubbed “Space Jam,” he demanded that a basketball court be built on set so that he could hone his skills and work out with NBA players. In fact, former players like Kenny Smith and Scottie Pippen (and even Jordan himself) have been vocal about how often they worked out with Jordan as he was filming.

Now that the rumors surrounding LeBron James starring in a sequel have come to fruition, it would not be a surprise if the most dominant player of this generation takes a similar approach.

Indeed, TMZ captured a behind-the-scenes look at LeBron James shooting around with new Los Angeles Lakers teammate Anthony Davis and Damian Lillard on the set of “Space Jam 2.”

Both Davis and Lillard have been confirmed as co-stars in the film, and Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are also rumored to play a part in the upcoming film.

The Lakers' acquisition of Davis has been the marquee move of the NBA offseason thus far, and the Lakers have managed to clear enough cap space to potentially acquire yet another superstar in free agency.

However, James and Davis' ability to work in tandem while filming might be just as impactful as any given move that the Lakers make this summer.
