LeBron James may be gearing up for the 2019-20 NBA campaign, but that does not mean he is not going to have a little fun in the month leading up to the start of the regular season.

With college football season in full swing, James is throwing his support behind his Ohio State Buckeyes, and he is willing to put his money where his mouth is.

James and Gabrielle Union, the wife of his former teammate, Dwyane Wade, have a Taco Tuesday bet over the Ohio State-Nebraska game, which will take place on Saturday night:

Of course, James is from Ohio, and Union is from Nebraska, so the two celebrities are repping their hometown schools.

The Buckeyes are ranked fifth in the country and have gotten off to a 4-0 start, most recently routing Miami (Ohio) by a score of 76-5 (no, that is not a misprint) last weekend.

Meanwhile, the Corn Huskers have won three of their first four games and are coming off of a 42-38 win over Illinois.

James is entering his second season with the Los Angeles Lakers, and he is hoping this year goes a heck of a lot better than the 2018-19 campaign, when James missed over a month with a groin injury and led the Lakers to just 37 wins, missing the playoffs for the first time since his second year in the NBA back in 2005.

With Los Angeles adding the likes of Anthony Davis, Danny Green and some other veterans during the offseason, it seems safe to say that James and the Lakers will be returning to the playoffs this year.
