The Los Angeles Dodgers have just achieved the improbable feat of coming back from 3-1 down in the series to defeat the Atlanta Braves in Game 7 of the NLCS on Sunday. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was one of the many who were tuned in to the epic contest, and the newly-crowned NBA champ took to social media to send his congratulatory message for the World Series-bound Dodgers.

Along with other NBA personalities, James was one of the first to react to L.A.'s huge victory, taking to his Instagram account to commend the Dodgers for their very impressive effort on Sunday night:

It was a thriller between the Dodgers and the Braves, with the back-and-forth encounter not short of huge plays. It was truly a Game 7 for the ages, as it had more than a few thrilling moments that one would expect from a do-or-die contest. When it was all said and done, it was L.A. who emerged with a series-clinching 4-3 victory.

Aside from LeBron, another Lakers legend sent out his congratulations to the Dodgers. A long-time L.A. supporter himself, the great Magic Johnson was clearly delighted with the Dodgers' victory on Sunday:

Other NBA players also quickly joined in on the celebrations:

Pau Gasol, Dodgers

As for Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young, he had a message of support for the heartbroken Braves:

The Dodgers themselves will surely be celebrating tonight (probably until the wee hours of the morning), but they know that the job isn't done just yet. They have a couple of days to rest, with Game 1 of the World Series scheduled for Tuesday night. L.A. will face off against the Tampa Bay Rays in what should be another epic series.
