In the press release, it says that NBA teams surprising passed on LiAngelo which seems like wishful thinking, because most everyone knew that he wasn't going to be drafted. LiAngelo says that he wants to use the league to win games, and improve on his craft.

“I just want to win for the team,” LiAngelo said. “That's all I want to do, win. I'm trying to play ball, and I'm trying to play ball, and I am trying to get better every day.”

LaMelo is also excited to be back on the same court as his brother, but knows that this a business, and first and foremost they need to win games. The JBA League plays a short season, and playoffs start in a little less than a month. LiAngelo and LaMelo's team, the Ballers have to be considered the favorites, and there is no question that LaVar is going to be very hands-on with this team. Once the season ends it will be interesting to see if LiAngelo decides to go overseas, or if he will stay in the United States and try to find another opportunity, maybe in the G League.
