Ex-NBA player Metta World Peace dreams of one day seeing the Indiana Pacers or the New York Knicks winning the title. However, he sees that the Los Angeles Lakers will win this year.

Via Twitter, World Peace — who spent five seasons in Indiana — said that he ‘would love' to see the Pacers snag a title. He wants the Knicks to win one too, as he hails from the Queensbridge Houses in Queens, New York. But his gut tells him that the LeBron James-led Lakers squad will win it all.

World Peace's prediction is also similar to that of various analysts. Now that the Lakers have James and Anthony Davis in one team, they believe that this year's version of the Purple and Gold would wreak havoc. Not to mention the presence of Kyle Kuzma, too, who's been nothing short of amazing in his young career.

The Pacers, meanwhile, is expected to remain a playoff team this year. Last season, they finished with an impressive 48-34 record despite being without star guard Victor Oladipo for half of the season. They were ranked as one of the best defensive teams in the league. When healthy, they have the capacity to be one of the top teams out there.

As for the Knicks, their future remains uncertain especially after they failed to snag big-name free agents. They've become the laughing stock of some fans due to this. Hopefully, their prized rookie RJ Barrett can turn things around.
