34-year-old Nate Robinson has denied initial reports that he has put pen to paper on a deal that will see him play abroad this year. Multiple sources claim that Robinson is still holding off his deal in Lebanon in the hopes of still playing in the NBA this upcoming season.

Nate Robinson says he has not signed his deal in Lebanon yet and will continue to weigh his options and try to get a training camp invite first before signing. But he says he will play in the Big 3 every summer until he retires.

However, there has been very little interest from NBA teams on Robinson, whose last significant stint in the association was with the Denver Nuggets in 2015. After which, Robinsons played only a total of 11 games for two other teams (the Los Angeles Clippers and the New Orleans Pelicans) in 2015 and 2016.
Over the past two years, the three-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion has been playing professionally abroad in Israel and Venezuela. He has also featured for the Delaware 87ers of the G League.
Most recently, Robinson has been part of Ice Cube's BIG3 league, and this has given the 5-foot-9 point guard a good opportunity to showcase his skills at a bigger stage.
Robinson obviously believes that he is still capable of playing at the highest level, but it appears that not many share his enthusiasm. The fact that there appears to be no contact as of yet from any NBA team is testament to this fact.
Nonetheless, this has done little to dampened Robinson's spirit. He is still out there getting the work in and shooting his shot. Kudos to him for that.
