The NBA All-Star Game picture gained further clarity on Thursday evening when the remaining All-Star reserves were announced, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. Here were the names mentioned:

East:

G – Kyle Lowry
G – Jimmy Butler
G/F – Ben Simmons
F – Jayson Tatum
F – Khris Middleton
F/C – Domantas Sabonis
C – Bam Adebayo

West:

G – Damian Lillard
G – Russell Westbrook
G – Donovan Mitchell
G – Chris Paul
F – Brandon Ingram
C – Nikola Jokic
C – Rudy Gobert

While the players have been selected based on their Conference affiliation, the league will once again be enacting the captains' Draft this season with Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks and LeBron James of the Lakers serving as the head selection makers for their respective squads on Feb. 16.

Six of the aforementioned players were bestowed the honor of making the All-Star Game for the first time in their career in the form of Sabonis, Adebayo, Tatum, Ingram, Mitchell and Gobert. The reserves also unveiled a 10th career appearance for Paul, who is participating in the All-Star Game for the first since the 2015-16 year when he was a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Maybe the biggest name not mentioned in the group is Suns guard Devin Booker, who enters play Thursday eighth in the league in scoring at 27.1 points per game. Booker has not yet been named an All-Star in his five-year career. Other notable names left off the list include Karl-Anthony Towns of the Timberwolves, Zach Lavine of the Bulls, Andre Drummond of the Pistons (who leads the league in rebounds per game) and Bradley Beal of the Wizards.
