Former Golden State Warriors swingman Nick Young was arrested in Hollywood on Friday and cited with obstruction of justice, according to a report from TMZ Sports.

Law enforcement in contact with TMZ Sports noted that Young, also known as Swaggy P, was pulled over just before midnight for a routine traffic violation. However, the report indicates that Young failed to comply with the officers who were on the scene, which led to his arrest.

One witness told TMZ Sports that Young, now 33 years of age, was taken out of his vehicle and ordered to stand against the wall, where he was cuffed. He was then taken to a local police station, and his vehicle was sent to an impound yard.

There is no word on whether or not Young was carrying any passengers.

As most hoops fans know, Young and the Warriors played their way to an NBA championship last season, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in a four-game sweep. The former 16th overall pick made 80 appearances with the Dubs during their 2017-18 regular=season campaign, racking up averages of 7.3 points on 41.2 percent shooting from the floor (37.7 percent from beyond the arc) and 1.6 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per outing.

Young remains available as a free agent.
