Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley has been talking a lot all season long, especially during the three-month hiatus brought about by the coronavirus pandemic. Former NBA player-turned analyst Kendrick Perkins loves Beverley's fire but dared the guard to back it up once the 2019-20 season resumes.

I love @patbev21 and what he brings to the game but he’s been talking a lot Sh*t during this Pandemic…he better bring that HEAT!!!”

Perkins shared his sentiments on Patrick Beverley in NBA on ESPN then doubled down on Twitter.

Like Perkins' co-hosts noted, even before the 2019-20 season was suspended, Beverley has always been talking trash. That's just the way he is. Beverley's playstyle involves playing mind games with his foes both on and off the court.

It seems that Perkins simply wants Beverley to back up his words. And the only way to do so is by winning a title. After all, since the Clippers beefed up their roster with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George last summer, the Doc Rivers-led squad have been favorites to win it all.

The Clippers have an impressive 44-20 record for second in the competitive Western Conference. While it's safe to say that they will head to the postseason, the Clippers would love to take that number one spot from the Lakers who sport a 49-14 record.

In fact, they will meet with LeBron James' Purple and Gold squad on July 31. The other teams they'll play against are the New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trail Blazers, and the Brooklyn Nets.
