Paul Pierce is one of the greatest shooters to ever lace them up in the NBA. And now that there's a lack of basketball to watch, he's volunteering to join in the festivities and participating in a bit of friendly competition.

Adrian Wojnarowski announced that the league will be holding a H-O-R-S-E competition that ould feature some of the game's biggest stars in order to give fans something to look forward to. The Truth replied to Wojnarowski's announcement that he's more than happy to participate in the contest.

The details of the competition are sill being analyzed, but it's clear to all of the parties involved that the tournament will be done in isolation. The contest will be done via video call, and all of the players will have to shoot in isolation, be it in a local spot or their own home gyms. A video-conferencing tool will be used so the contestants will be able to see what is happening immediately.

If Paul Pierce is willing to play, then it will also open the door for other legends to join in as well. Legendary shooters such as Ray Allen and Reggie Miller could also jump in and compete. Some of the more recent retirees in Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki could also join in.

Paul Pierce is not as popular as some of the other superstars that will make an appearance in the H-O-R-S-E contest. However, he's known to be one of the greatest scorers of the 2000s. His presence alone would make the competition a lot more entertaining to watch.
