UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov remains unbeaten after choking out Conor McGregor in the fourth round of UFC 229's main event. The world was on watch and, of course, NBA stars as well.

The lead-in to the fight up to its finish was not short of drama and it even escalated after the Irish fighter tapped out of the Russian's rear naked choke, when everyone inside a sold-out T-Mobile Arena thought the smoke had already cleared.

Nurmagomedov held control of the entire match over McGregor, but he wasn't satisfied with the victory, jumping over the fence and out of the octagon, straight into The Notorious' team. All hell broke loose when it happened and a full brawl ensued that even spilled over to McGregor himself who was inside the octagon left unassuming.

As seen in the video below, one member of Khabib's team even delivered a few punches right into McGregor.

An unreal moment that came as an absolute shock also to NBA players, who took to Twitter in expressing their raw reactions to the melee and actual fight itself.

L.A. Clippers center Marcin Gortat had just finished their game against the Los Angeles Lakers but he's not going to allow himself be left out from the action — at least on social media.

Hall of Famer Reggie Miller compared the ending to Malice at the Palace.
