LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers took care of business on Saturday to book their ticket to the NBA Finals.

The King stepped up when it mattered most, posting a triple-double of 38 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists to repel the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.  LeBron was unstoppable all game long and got everything he wanted, as the Mile High City squad looked like they were afraid of guarding him.

Sure enough, after the Lakers were crowned as Western Conference champs, players took to Twitter to express their reactions about Game 5 and LA's success. Unsurprisingly, LeBron received tons of praises from his NBA peers for another show of excellence even at 35 years old at in his 17th season in the league.

Among the first to react is Lakers icon Magic Johnson, who expressed how proud he is of LeBron and the Lakers.

Other players, meanwhile, didn't hold back as they showed their amazement to what LeBron is doing at this late of a stage in his career.

On the other hand, other players did not forget about the Nuggets and the amazing run they had in the playoffs.  To recall, Denver came back from two 3-1 deficits (against the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers) en route to making it to the West finale.

While Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray failed to power the Nuggets to another 3-1 comeback, they have earned the respect of everyone in the NBA.

LeBron James is now heading to the 10th NBA Finals appearance of his career, while the Lakers return to the championship series after a 10-year drought highlighted by six straight seasons (2014 to 2019) of missing postseason basketball.

The Purple and Gold are only waiting the winner of the Miami Heat-Boston Celtics series in the Eastern Conference Finals.
