Former Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino is itching it get back into coaching again as he is ready to take the next steps in getting back onto the court. According to ESPN, Pitino wants to coach again, whether it's in college or the NBA. The former head coach has hired agent Jordan Bazant and is ready to not leave the game in a bitter mode.

“Every night I go to bed, I'm bitter at the U.S. attorney's office and at the ‘board of traitors' at Louisville,” Pitino said. “I'm not bitter at the school, but at the board of traitors.”

Pitino had a successful time on the court at Louisville but he was accused of scandals that he could not get rid of. In September, Louisville confirmed it was among the few college basketball programs that was being searched by the FBI for the pay-for-play investigation. Once the news cam out, within a month, Pitino was fired.

He told ESPN that he is ready to turn in all of his phone records, emails and any type of voice recordings that any potential school needs to hopefully hire him.

“I've never offered any player $5,” he said. “I've been assassinated by the Southern District of N.Y. without any wiretap or shred of evidence, and the University of Louisville. That being said, I love teaching basketball and am more passionate than ever.”

The NCAA recently suspended the head coach for five games for the accusations and that will be applied to the 2017-2018 season. Besides those five games, he's ready to coach when called.

Pitino could be a good fit for any team as he has the coaching experience and magic to turn any program around. It will be interesting to see if any program/team will give the legendary head coach a chance.
