With the entire basketball community fixated on Houston Rockets superstar James Harden's recent offensive onslaught, it has become quite easy to overlook everyone else.

However, as pointed out by a redditor that goes by the username u/ChaseBank5, Utah Jazz stud Donovan Mitchell has actually been on a Harden-like streak himself.

As the post explains, only Mitchell and Harden have scored at least 24 points in 12 consecutive games. Currently leading the league with a whopping 36.3 points per game, having Harden in this specific category is not a surprise at all.

However, for Mitchell, just to be mentioned in the same breath as Harden and his scoring record is a testament to the type of season the Jazz sophomore guard is currently having.

For his part, Mitchell is currently averaging 22.5 points per contest, which has him ranked 17th overall in the league in scoring.

That's a far cry from Harden's league-leading mark, but the fact that he is the only other player other than Harden to achieve this scoring feat speaks volumes of his consistency.

Mitchell has been outstanding for the Jazz this season, as he has gladly taken on the scoring responsibilities for the team. It has worked wonders for Utah, who are now positioned at the seventh spot in a ruthless Western Conference.

Nevertheless, with the competition in the West at an all-time high, Mitchell will still have his work cut out for him if he and the Jazz intend to keep their postseason dream alive.
