Orlando Magic big man Nikola Vucevic and Houston Rockets guard James Harden have been named the Players of the Week for Week 4 of the NBA season.

For the Magic, Vucevic averaged 21.7 points and 14.0 rebounds, while Harden put up 44.8 points, 6.8 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game for the Rockets:

The Rockets are 10-3 on the season. They are starting to look like a championship contender and Harden is once again making scoring look way too easy.

Harden is averaging 39.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 7.8 assists on the season. He’s shooting 41.7 percent from the field, 33.2 percent from beyond the arc and 88.1 percent from the free-throw line. The Beard won the Player of the Week Award last week as well.

Vucevic and the Magic are 6-7 on the season. The Magic All-Star is putting up 18.2 points, 12.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while shooting 46.1 percent overall, 32.6 percent from the 3-point line and 84.6 percent from the charity stripe.

With Harden and Russell Westbrook leading the charge, the Rockets are scoring 118.5 points per game, which is second in the NBA. Slowly but surely, Harden and Westbrook are getting more comfortable playing with each other. That spells trouble for the rest of the league.

Vucevic is trying to lead the Magic to the playoffs for the second consecutive season. The East is pretty wide-open this season, especially at the bottom of the standings, so Orlando has a good shot at reaching the playoffs again.
