Toronto Raptors swingman Pascal Siakam and Houston Rockets guard James Harden have been named the Players of the Week for Week 3 of the NBA season.

For the Raptors, Siakam averaged 30.3 points and 11.3 rebounds, while Harden put up 40.7 points, 9.3 assists and 8.0 rebounds per game for the Rockets:

The Rockets are 6-3 on the season. They have defeated the New Orleans Pelicans, Oklahoma City Thunder, Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls.

Harden is averaging 37.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 8.2 assists on the season. He’s shooting 39.4 percent from the field, 30.0 percent from beyond the arc and 89.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Siakam and the Raptors are 7-2 on the season. The reigning Most Improved Player of the Year is putting up 27.4 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game while shooting 49.7 percent overall, 37.0 percent from the 3-point line and 89.6 percent from the charity stripe.

With Harden and Russell Westbrook leading the charge, the Rockets are scoring 120.1 points per game, which is first in the NBA. Slowly but surely, Harden and Westbrook are getting more comfortable playing with each other. That spells trouble for the rest of the league.

Siakam is the main option on the Raptors now that Kawhi Leonard is gone. His usage rate is going to be really high over the next few weeks because Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka are both out with injuries.
