Even upon retirement, NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal continues to be ridiculed for his absurdly poor free-throw shooting. One of his sons, Shareef O'Neal, also got into the act and burned his old man with a hilarious quip on his TikTok account.

Shareef shared a short clip of Shaq comfortably napping on a boat. “The Big Diesel” had no idea that his son was already roasting him.

“My dad got a boat and named it ‘free throw' … because he will never sink it,” the 20-year-old LSU player wrote.

Before keeping us entertained with his shenanigans with the TNT crew, Shaquille O'Neal was undoubtedly the most dominant force the NBA has ever seen. In 20 seasons, the four-time NBA champion has career averages of 23.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks.

What truly held him back was his career 52.7 percent success rate from the foul line.

Shaq enjoyed his best free-throw shooting year in the 2002-03 season when he drained 62.2 percent of his attempts for the Los Angeles Lakers. His worst was with the Miami Heat in 06-07, when he hit just 42.2 percent.

The 15-time All-Star once described his free throw struggles as God's way of humbling him.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Shareef referenced his old man's free throw difficulties on social media. He posted this hilarious caption on Instagram last year.

The O'Neal household, on the other hand, has emerged as the true winners of the quarantine period. The lively bunch has been sharing videos of their TikTok dances and Shaq's DJ skills.
