Athletes around the world find themselves more engaged in social media more nowadays following the suspension of the NBa and other major sporting leagues across the world due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Such is the case with LSU Tiger Shareef O'Neal, who opted to use the downtime to express his admiration for singer Tinashe.

The 20-year-old son of NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal commented on Tinashe's latest TikTok dance video, proclaiming he has a crush on the 27-year-old pop star.

Shareef's bold tweet was soon met by approval by his followers. NBA guard and Brooklyn Nets rising star Spencer Dinwiddie also took notice and responded with a GIF of himself flashing the OK sign.

Tinashe, meanwhile, was previously linked with Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Ben Simmons. The young Shareef, however, might have some trouble catching her attention, as Tinashe told TMZ last year that she is done dating basketball players.

Shareef O'Neal overcame a distressing heart condition back in 2018 and was able to return last year for the UCLA Bruins.  He only averaged 2.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in a reserve role and announced his intent to transfer to his father's alma mater, LSU, last February.

As for Dinwiddie, his team is currently facing a major crisis after the Nets confirmed that four of their players tested positive for COVID-19. NBA superstar Kevin Durant revealed that his tests came back positive, while the three others remain unnamed as of writing.

Dinwiddie was enjoying an impressive season prior to the NBA-wide suspension. In 64 games, the 26-year-old guard notched 20.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 6.8 assists.
