The San Antonio Spurs and the Cleveland Cavaliers will open the Salt Lake City Summer League this July.

The NBA has released the schedule for the 2019 Salt Lake City Summer League which will take place from July 1 to 3. It will be a six-game showcase between three teams: the Spurs, Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, and the Memphis Grizzlies. The games will take place in Vivint Smart Home Arena.

On Day 1, the Spurs will take on the Cavaliers at 5 pm. It will be followed by the Grizzlies and the Jazz at 7 pm. On July 2, the Spurs and Grizzlies will match up, followed by the Cavaliers and the Jazz. On the last day of the tourney, the Cavaliers and Grizzlies will duel, followed by the Jazz and the Spurs.

The Summer League will feature the top prospects of each team. The Grizzlies currently holds the No. 2 pick in the draft while Cleveland is set to pick No. 5 and 26. The Spurs will pick at No. 19, 29 and 49, and the Jazz have the No. 23 and 53 overall.

Summer is no exception as evident by our record attendance last year,” said Jonathan Rinehart, summer league executive director. “We seek to capture the essence of summer with its casual, accessible and fun atmosphere. The downtown location uniquely merges professional sports, entertainment amenities and a world-class facility for the public and participating teams to enjoy.”
