ESPN NBA personality Stephen A. Smith delivered a powerful message on SportsCenter in the wake of the ruling about Breonna Taylor's killing.

On Wednesday, the Kentucky Attorney General announced that the three cops who were involved in the Taylor killing would not be charged with murder, and the NBA world was very upset about it.

Brett Hankison, a former Louisville police officer, has been indicted on three counts of wanton endangerment in the first degree for his actions in the Breonna Taylor case, but no one in the NBA cares about that. The league and its players wanted Hankison, along with Jon Mattingly and Myles Cosgrove, to be arrested and charged with murder.

This was a very moving speech by Stephen A. Smith. NBA players will never shut up and dribble. While their efforts at Walt Disney World wound up not impacting the grand jury's decision, the players should still be commended for everything they have done.

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron is certainly not going to be popular in NBA circles moving forward, especially after his comments on Wednesday. He said the officers were “justified in their use of force,” while admitting that he knows people are going to be outraged.

For what it's worth, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has also expressed his disgust about the saddening development, admitting that he was hurt about the decision.
