Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry and Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade have been two of the most outspoken NBA personalities in the wake of George Floyd's death at the hands of Minneapolis police last week.

Aside from voicing out their anger and showing their support for the peaceful protests, both Curry and Wade are now also urging Americans to make their vote count as another way to effect change in the nation:

Several states across the nation held primary elections on Tuesday, and for their part, Stephen Curry and Wade made sure to send out a reminder for people in these states to go out and vote.

Incumbent United States President Donald Trump has been on the receiving end of a ton of criticism of late for his actions surrounding the death of Floyd and the ensuing protests. Both Curry and Wade are reminding people that they have a golden opportunity in their hands to make their voices heard through the democratic process of voting. Americans who are in opposition of President Trump now have the opportunity to vote him out. The same holds true for citizens who remain to stand behind Trump, as this preliminary elections likewise gives them the chance to reaffirm their support to the President.

It is clear where Curry, Wade, and a majority of the NBA stand when it comes to their view on Trump, but also, they are reminding each and every American citizen here — regardless of political affiliation — to exercise their right to vote.
