Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry and Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton have been named Players of the Week for week 14 by the NBA. The dates inclusive are from January 22 to 28.

Stephen Curry averaged impressive numbers of 35.3 points, including 56.8 percent from beyond the arc to go along with 7.0 assists during the stretch. More importantly, he was able to lead the Dubs to a perfect 3-0 record which has allowed them to extend their lead on top of the Western Conference as they currently own a 40-10 record, four games clear of the Houston Rockets.

Khris Middleton, on the other hand, was also solid for the Bucks with averages of 25.3 points, on 63.8 percent shooting from the field, with 5.3 rebounds per game last week. He and his team were also undefeated on the week in three outings, allowing them to move up to sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

Both players have been very consistent all season long, with the former back-to-back MVP cruising in one of his best campaigns as a pro. The same can be said about Middleton, who has remained healthy so far while getting career-high numbers in a number of statistical categories.

If the trend continues for the two, it won't be surprising to see them win some more Player of the Week Awards as the season progresses. The individual honor may be a good reward for how they've been playing, but it's also indicative of how their teams are performing, which they are most likely concerned about as winning a title is their main goal.
