Golden State Warriors head coach and Michael Jordan's ex-teammate Steve Kerr says that he hopes “The Last Dance” docu-series will give younger fans and players a glimpse into MJ's unique drive to utterly dominate his opponents and the NBA.

Kerr, who played for the Chicago Bulls alongside His Airness from 1993 to 1998, acknowledged that it might be difficult for lot of players today to truly understand what made MJ so dominant. With that said, the former NBA sharpshooter-turned coach expressed his desire for everyone to see and feel Jordan's impact to the game and the league as a whole.

“I just think how much fun it was to be a part of, how great NBA basketball was in the ’90s, how different it was then to now and how dominant Michael was — not just physically but spiritually,” Kerr said about what he wants NBA fans to learn from the doc.

“The hold he had over the entire league, over everybody, it was just dramatic…I think that’s the hardest thing for the young players who didn’t see him play. They can see the highlights, but they can’t feel his dominance, and that’s what I hope this documentary really shows.”

Moreover, despite the dominance, Kerr shared that he hopes the “The Last Dance” will make it clear how hard the Bulls NBA title runs were — something he's experienced again with the Warriors.

“Everybody knows how great Michael was. He went 6-0 in the Finals, and you look back and you probably just assume he was so dominant that it was easy. It was not easy. It wasn’t easy for him or for anybody. He made the difficult look easy because of his dominance, but he had to dig so deep year after year, and it took so much out of him,” Steve Kerr added.
