COVID-19 continues to rip its way across the NBA and now, even head coaches are testing positive. Rick Carlisle and Alvin Gentry have spent time in protocols, while Billy Donovan and Frank Vogel remain sidelined due to the virus. Well, you can now add Phoenix Suns coach Monty Williams and Portland Trail Blazers boss Chauncey Billups to the list.

Via Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN:

Williams has once again done a tremendous job with the Suns so far, leading them to a 26-6 start which is currently the second-best record in the NBA behind only the Golden State Warriors. He's proven to be a fantastic coach who all the players love. Assistant Kevin Young is expected to replace Williams for the time being while he's in protocols.

As for Billups, his first year in charge of the Blazers hasn't exactly been the best. Portland is a disappointing 13-17 and has lost eight of their last 10 games. They're already having their own problems because of COVID, with just 10 players currently available. Damian Lillard and Co. haven't played since last Tuesday.

The Suns take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night at home, while the Blazers welcome the Dallas Mavericks to town. Let's hope Monty Williams and Chauncey Billups can recover soon and get back to work.
