The Oklahoma City Thunder and Atlanta Hawks faced off on Friday night in one of the weirdest games of the season, and for a strange reason. The two teams came out in the first half with jerseys that were hard to distinguish.

Red and orange should never be worn together and it made it hard for everybody to tell who is who, we can only imagine the issues the players and referees had as well.

However, it wasn't for long and the Thunder switched to their white jerseys at the half due to a mistake prior to the game, according to Joe Mussatto.

So it turns out that Trae Young's squad wore the wrong color and somehow wasn't noticed until both teams were on the court. So weird, and yes, this really happened.

The Thunder have a commanding lead as the third quarter draws to a close and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the way with 20 points as the Thunder continue to defy the odds and make a push towards the playoff picture in a year everybody thought they would be one of the worst teams in the league.

For the Hawks, their struggles continue, even after a victory against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. Young was left off of the All-Star roster and is shooting just 6-16 from the field for 14 points and John Collins leads the Hawks team with 20 points on 9-15 shooting.

This might be the first time in a long time that the uniform situation was this bizarre, and how this ended up happening is a big question. Thankfully it got fixed at the half and for those watching, their eyes must be hurting from trying to distinguish who is who especially for the Hawks and Thunder players.
