NBA Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady confessed that if he was still playing in the league, he would vote “not to play” this season.

McGrady said he wants to see “radical change” in terms of police brutality and racial injustices before the NBA comes back. The basketball icon also said people are still dying from COVID-19 and that sports aren't that important right now.

Moreover, T-Mac tragically shared that he had a friend in New York who already lost 16 people to COVID-19.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported last Wednesday that there is a “growing uncertainty” among NBA players about participating in the bubble games at Walt Disney World, although Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James isn't one of them.

Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving, Lakers center Dwight Howard, Portland Trail Blazers small forward Carmelo Anthony and Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell have expressed concerns about playing again. Los Angeles Clippers shooting guard Lou Williams wants to hoop, but he did acknowledge that the return of sports could be a distraction from the Black Lives Matter movement.

The 2019-20 NBA season is scheduled to resume on July 30, with the 2020 Finals concluding no later than October 12. However, after last Friday's call, some around the league now believe that the campaign isn't a lock to resume.

A total of 22 teams are supposed to play in the bubble games. Players won't be allowed to leave the Walt Disney World resort and they'll be isolated, as their families can't come with them at the start.
