Everyone is having fun in the 2018 NBA All-Star Game but Twitterverse is having a field day roasting superstar singer Fergie Duhamel for her rendition of the American national anthem.

Fergie, the former Black Eyed Peas lead singer, was chosen to sing the national anthem at the beginning of festivities prior to tip-off between Team LeBron and Team Stephen on Sunday.

But some have noted that her rendition sounds a bit too much like “Santa Baby,” the sexy classic Christmas song. No matter how you look at it, the country will never forgive Fergie. At least for the next few days, that is.

Here are some of the funniest and wackiest comments on Twitter:

The Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green couldn’t help himself. Can anyone blame him?

Also from the Warriors, Curry wasn’t too focused on the game, after all. He was liking tweets including those about Fergie’s singing.

This one was extra brutal as EOP Comedy thought that the singing was ear-piercing to the point that blood could be flowing from Klay Thompson’s ears!

The Philadelphia 76ers’ center and first-time All-Star Joel Embiid hopes this isn’t how the national anthem is played in his future All-Star appearances. Curry and Green continue to agree.

This is definitely the best solution for those of you who don’t want to remember Fergie’s performance. Here’s Will Smith to help you out. Any Men in Black fans out there?

Hopefully, Fergie is just having fun regardless of how savage the tweets have been. After all, bad publicity is still publicity.
