Tyreke Evans is not ready to give up on his NBA journey. He recently worked out with the Golden State Warriors, a viable idea for the team heading into the NBA Playoffs considering Evans' experience and talent.

But it looks like the prolific guard won't be joining the Warriors in his quest to return to the NBA. According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, Evans could be headed to the Milwaukee Bucks, as he is set to sign a contract with the squad's G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd.

Evans hasn't played a single second of NBA hoops after getting a two-year ban in 2019 for violating the league's anti-drug policy. But prior to the unfortunate incident, he was having a solid career. He won the Rookie of the Year trophy with the Sacramento Kings in 2009, beating the likes of Stephen Curry, James Harden, Blake Griffin, and DeMar DeRozan.

He also suited up for the New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies, and Indiana Pacers, providing buckets and playmaking at both guard positions—a luxury for any NBA team.

Joining the Bucks might be a more feasible option for Evans, considering the Warriors are already loaded in the backcourt. With Pat Connaughton and George Hill still sidelined by injuries and Deandre' Bembry recently suffering an ACL tear, Evans could be a warm body off the bench. At 32 years old, he's still in his prime physically and could contribute to the Bucks in their defense of the NBA title.

The Bucks are currently in the no. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference with a 42-26 record.
