Now with a format to resume the 2019-20 NBA season, the Las Vegas SuperBook didn’t take long to adjust the latest odds for the championship. The Los Angeles Lakers lead the race with a 5-2 odds, closely followed by the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers at 3-1.

The NBA plans to include all 16 teams already qualified for the playoffs, while adding six more teams (five from the West and one from the East). Here is how they stack up in their odds for the title:

  • Los Angeles Lakers (1st in West): 5-2
  • Milwaukee Bucks (1st in East), Los Angeles Clippers (2nd in West): 3-1
  • Houston Rockets (6th in West), Boston Celtics (3rd in East): 16-1
  • Toronto Raptors (2nd in East), Philadelphia 76ers (6th in East):  20-1
  • Denver Nuggets (3rd in West): 25-1
  • Dallas Mavericks (7th in West), Miami Heat (4th in East), Brooklyn Nets (7th in East): 40-1
  • Utah Jazz (4th in West): 50-1
  • Oklahoma City Thunder (5th in West), Portland Trail Blazers (9th in West), New Orleans Pelicans (10th in West): 80-1
  • Indiana Pacers (5th in East): 100-1
  • Memphis Grizzlies (8th in West), Orlando Magic (8th in East): 1000-1
  • Sacramento Kings (11th in West), San Antonio Spurs (12th in West), Washington Wizards (9th in East): 2000-1
  • Phoenix Suns (13th in West): 10,000-1

The Lakers have been the favorite to walk away with the Larry O’Brien trophy, even after being previously tied with the Milwaukee Bucks for the top spot. Milwaukee does boast the better overall record with 53 wins and 12 losses during this strange NBA season.
