It's been a tough year for everyone but more especially, for Vanessa Bryant. It's been nearly five months since the tragic death of Gigi and Kobe Bryant and it seems that the whole world is still reeling from that fateful January morning in Calabasas, including Vanessa herself.

Earlier today, Vanessa seems to be taking a trip down memory lane as she posted a few throwback videos on Instagram showcasing a few tattoos she got in honor of her late husband and daughter:

In the videos, we see Vanessa getting inked by famous California-based tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado who has helped her permanently honor and commemorate the messages of both Kobe Bryant and Gigi on her neck and wrist. Hurtado has seen an influx of inquiries of Kobe-inspired tattoos since the athlete's devastating accident earlier this year but these two ones for Mrs. Bryant herself will truly be something special for him.

Vanessa continues to celebrate the lives of both Kobe and Gigi as she puts out inspiring messages in loving memory of the two. Last week, Vanessa posted an emotional message for Gigi as it would've been the young 13-year old's 8th grade graduation. Vanessa also chose to use her platform to join the nationwide movement against social injustice by posting an old photo of Kobe wearing an “I Can't Breathe Shirt” back in 2014.

It's also been reported that Vanessa and the rest of her family will be very involved in the enshrinement of the 2020 Hall of Fame class which will be spearheaded by none other than Kobe Bryant.
