With less than half the season left, teams are trying to make a playoff push and when that is the case, it usually helps to have an easy schedule to try and climb the standings.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, two of the three easiest strength of schedules remaining belong to teams in the playoff hunt:

The Charlotte Hornets are still technically in the playoff race, but they are 5.5 games out of the eighth spot and have the Pistons who have Blake Griffin in front of them in the ninth spot.

For the Philadelphia 76ers and the Golden State Warriors, both have everything in front of them, and strong finishes by both teams could really change their playoff outlook.

The 76ers currently have a 30-25 record which sits them in seventh place in the standings, and only three games clear of being in the playoffs.

The Eastern Conference is tight though, and realistically the 76ers could probably move all the way up to third place if the cards fall right. The Cleveland Cavaliers currently sit in third place but they are only 3.5 games up on the Bucks.

Even if the 76ers can't climb up that much in the standings, the easy schedule should at least guarantee they will make the playoffs, as long as they take care of business.

For the Warriors, they are on a mission to win a championship, and anything less would be a disappointment. They currently sit a half game back of the Rockets for the top spot in the Western Conference.

If they can overtake them for the top spot and clinch home court throughout the playoffs, that would go along ways in terms of this team repeating for the title.

With an easy schedule and the Warriors having the most talent in the NBA on their roster, the odds seem in their favor to have the best record in the league at the end of the regular season.
