It didn't take Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry long to get back to peak form. Furthermore, Bradley Beal remains a constant ray of hope amidst the dysfunction of the Washington Wizards. On Monday, Curry and Beal were rewarded for their strong play with the Player of the Week honors in their respective conferences (h/t ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly).

Curry put up ridiculous numbers in three games last week, including a 42-point outburst against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Curry averaged 30.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game in that stretch but his most eye-popping stat was his ability to shoot 57.6 percentage across those three games.

That's the Chef Curry we all know and love.

The Warriors are starting to get healthy and it appears that their early season struggles are a thing of the past. Superstar center DeMarcus Cousins is slowly making his way back from his Achilles tear and when he's back in the lineup, the Warriors will start five All-Stars. Maybe it goes without saying but although the Warriors haven't had an ideal start to the season, the rest of the Western Conference needs to watch out.

Beal was just as good as Curry in his three games, averaging 30.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game in that stretch.

Unlike Curry, his three-point shot wasn't working but Beal still managed to dominate the games anyway; the sharpshooter only converted 28.6 percent of his shots from deep, a steep drop from his career mark of 38.8 percent from behind the arc. The Wizards are slowly climbing back into the Eastern Conference playoff picture. At 11-15, the Wizards are only a game out of the eighth seed and they have the talent to make the playoffs. The question is whether or not they can overcome their own dysfunction.
