Former Duke standout Zion Williamson made headlines earlier this week when he decided to declare for this year's NBA Draft, but he isn't stopping there.

On Wednesday, Williamson joined the associate director of the Blue Devils Network, Nolan Elingburg, and his wife, Daniel, to reveal the gender of their unborn baby.

Via Jaclyn Hendricks of the New York Post:

“We’re having a baby and now we just need to find out if it’s a boy or girl. So, Zion, take it from here,” Elingburg said in a video posted on Twitter.

This was no ordinary gender reveal, however. As part of the act, Zion was asked to dunk a makeshift basketball, which exploded into blue confetti once he slammed it home. After learning that the baby is going to be a boy, the group shared a quick embrace and later posed for a group photo.

For good reason, Zion Williamson is projected to be the top pick in the upcoming draft. In 33 appearances with the Blue Devils (all starts), the Spartanburg, South Carolina native racked up averages of 22.6 points on 68. percent shooting from the field (33.8 percent from beyond the arc), 8.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.8 blocks in 30.0 minutes per outing.

Which team will land the talented 18-year-old star remains to be seen. There are said to be several lottery teams interested in his service, including the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls. For now, the basketball-loving world will just have to wait.
