Why The Bulls Can Cover The Spread
Chicago has been a good road team this season, as they possess a 7-4 record away from home. The Bulls are led by Zach LaVine and Demar DeRozan, who combine to score over 50 points per game. Lonzo Ball has been a steadying force at point guard, allowing the wings to focus on attacking. If the Bulls want to pick up a win on Thursday, they will need to deal with Julius Randle inside, however. The Bulls are little suspect inside defensively, so they will have a challenge on their hands. Still, the Bulls have been the better team between these two so far this season, so backing them to cover and win on Thursday is very reasonable.
Chicago is 14-8 vs. the spread this season. They are the better team and should be able to win and cover vs. the struggling Knicks on Thursday.

The Knicks sit as slight underdogs at home, and home dogs are always appealing. Still, the Knicks have struggled of late and may be worth fading at home vs. what has been a better Bulls team.
The Knicks are 10-11 against the spread so far this season. Being home with points is always nice, so if you like the matchup, maybe the Knicks aren't a horrible play. New York is due to wake up at home, where they are still under .500 for the season.

This might be a close out, but take the Bulls to win and cover over the Knicks on Thursday. Chicago has been the better team this season, especially of late, and should be able to handle business in the Garden. The Knicks are still trying to find themselves, still tweaking their rotations over 20 games into the season. The Bulls are the more solid team on both ends of the floor at the moment, and they should be able to cover a slim spread with a win over the Knicks despite being on the road. The Knicks have been a below average team at home so far this season and the Bulls will look to take advantage of that.
