Los Angeles has won five straight games and is rolling at the perfect time as they gear up for postseason play. Indiana has won four of their last five games, including an impressive seven-point victory against Memphis in their last game. The Clippers won the first head-to-head matchup of the season by 33 points back in January.

Here’s how sportsbooks have set the opening Clippers-Pacers odds.

NBA Odds: Clippers-Pacers Odds

Los Angeles Clippers -2.5 (-110)

Indiana Pacers +2.5 (-110)

Over 229 Points (-110)

Under 229 Points (-110)

Why The Clippers Could Cover The Spread

The Los Angeles Clippers are rolling of late, winning five straight games in convincing fashion. Los Angeles is starting to click at the perfect time heading into the postseason. Superstar Paul George has continued his phenomenal season and will certainly be looking to ride the momentum into the late stretch for his team. Everyone still remembers his horrid postseason back in 2020. George and Kawhi Leonard lead a loaded Clippers team that is currently the most efficient shooting group in the league. However, Kawhi will be out again on Tuesday.

The Clippers are coming off of a very impressive win against the Detroit Pistons in their last game. They shot the lights out of the gym despite playing without their leader in Leonard. Los Angeles shot 57.7% from deep and 62.5% from the field overall. This is a consistent recipe for success that is virtually unstoppable on a nightly basis. Marcus Morris and George were lethal in the win, going for 33 and 32 points respectively. The Clippers are 5-1 in their last six games against Eastern Conference opponents and won't have to worry about the best shot-blocker in the league in Myles Turner on Tuesday.

Why The Pacers Could Cover The Spread

The Indiana Pacers have won four of their last five games and currently sit two games below .500. The Pacers have been playing very well of late, thanks in large part to the play of Malcolm Brogdon and All-Star Domantas Sabonis. Sabonis is certainly the X-factor against Los Angeles as the Clippers have struggled to defend the paint, especially without big man Serge Ibaka manning the middle. Sabonis has been so efficient for his club this season and has dominated the boards as well.

Caris LeVert has been a nice addition to this team with his ability to provide elite offensive output at times. LeVert is coming off of a monstrous game against Memphis, registering 34 of his team's 135 points in the win. Malcolm Brogdon added 29 points and 11 assists and Domantis Sabonis was an assist shy of picking up a triple-double. Kawhi Leonard, Patrick Beverley, and Serge Ibaka are all set to miss this game, which will be a key factor for the Indiana Pacers tonight.

Final Clippers-Pacers Prediction & Pick

This pick is solely focused on the Indiana Pacers' inability to win games on their home court. Indiana has defeated just one team with a winning record at home since the start of 2021. The Los Angeles Clippers are so efficient and are much better on the defensive end. Three points is good value for a Clipper team that has a big edge in this matchup on paper.

FINAL PICK: Los Angeles Clippers -2.5 (-110)
